States the company's commitment against forced labour in its operations and its supply chain.
Scope
This policy applies to the company's own operations and to its suppliers, contractors and equipment manufacturers.
Position
The company does not tolerate forced labour, bonded labour, child labour, human trafficking or any other abuse of human rights in its operations or its supply chain.
Supply chain risk
The company develops and sells solar and battery energy storage projects. It recognises that the manufacture of solar modules, cells, polysilicon and battery components carries a known risk of forced labour in certain regions. Equipment procurement therefore requires supply chain provenance information from the supplier.
Diligence
Before equipment is selected, the company asks suppliers to confirm the origin of key components and to provide any traceability documentation they hold. Where a supplier cannot or will not answer, that is taken into account in the selection decision.
Contracts
Supply and construction contracts include a warranty that no forced or child labour was used, and a right of termination for breach.
Workers
The company pays its people fairly and on time, respects their right to freedom of association, and requires the same of its contractors on site.
Reporting
Any concern about labour practices is raised under the Whistleblowing and Speak-Up Policy.
Reporting a concern
Concerns about any matter covered by this policy may be raised with any director or by email to compliance@inbox.case.sg. Reports made in good faith attract no adverse consequence.
